Welcome to MuMuMunchies :) This little project was created basically to be a Chocolate Music Factory, where every week we will be unwrapping what we think are the most delicious snacks you'd rather listen to. Here's what the weekly flavours are:

Marshmallow Mondays (Alternative & Indie)

Chewy Tuesdays (Dubstep & Electro)

Twirly Thursdays (Trance)

Fat Fridays (Rap & Hip Hop)

Old Gold Sundays (Classics)

We hope you enjoy the music and that they'll satisfy your Munchies :)

Fat Fridays #2: Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! What better day to have Easter land on than a day like this. Amongst all the drooling chocolatey goodness and with a long weekend ahead of us, it is no doubt Fat Friday!
This week we bring to you delicacies containing smooth vocals and meaningful verses, comparable to that of rich yummy Easter chocolates...only difference is, when you indulge in our treats you'll still feel good about yourself and stay guilt-free! ;) So don't think, spoil yourselves silly!

When Diplo tweets "I'm pretty sure in 9 months there are gonna be a lot of new babies that this song is responsible for" and with over 700,000 plays, you know this one will be irresistible!

It's amazing how soulful and smooth this sample of Adele by Shwayze is. Definitely a feel good track :)

Last but not least! The Dean's List was an artist I discovered recently. This track will prove not all rappers this day and age need to rap about girls and money to make it. Watch out for this guy in the future!

Hey guys it's Chau here chiming in for an edition of Fat Friday. Just wanted you guys to be aware, if you weren't already, that the king is back. It's been awhile since Nasir Jones released a solo effort on his own and it's been even longer since anything has hit as hard as Illmatic and Stillmatic. Yeah he did that stint with Damian Marley but there hasn't been much indication of his former 1990's self which we love most.

At the end of last year Nas dropped this gem, and there was no doubt the nasty Nas we knew was back. He starts off with a monstrous:  "Late-night candlelight fiend with diesel in his needle/Queensbridge leader no equal/I come from the will of ezekiel/To pop thousand-dollar bottles of Scotch, smoke pot, and heal the people". All of this over a break-beat with no hook or nothing. Just pure hip-hop.

The Don is the first single off Nas' forthcoming album Life Is Good, and if it wasn't evident that he was going to be a force to be reckoned with, then this should clear up any confusion. If this is an indication of the album to come, this is the man to look out for in 2012. Nasir Jones, we welcome you back with open ears.
